Balustrades

Torquay Glass offers a wide range of balustrade products to suit our clients’ needs and vision. Our frameless glass balustrade systems feature sleek profiles that only frameless glass can provide, and are installed with handrails for safety and support to meet Australian standards.
We can install a variety of stainless steel handrail systems in square or circular profile, or timber handrails. We also provide 12 mm clear toughened, semi frameless or glass with stainless steel applications. Frameless glass balustrades can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications to create a unique custom design

We supply and install fully frameless balustrades with 15.4 Vista View to achieve complete seamless view from the balcony. Current BCA regulations state frameless glass balustrades must be installed with a handrail as a fall arrest in the event that the panel should break. Manufactured as a toughened laminate glass panel incorporating Dupont’s SGP interlayer, Vista View panels remain upright if broken, providing a fall arrest without the need for a handrail. This unique approach results in a truly frameless, BCA compliant glass balustrade system.
